The regulation will take effect on January 17, 2025.
The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is an EU regulation designed to enhance IT security for financial entities and critical ICT providers that serve these entities. Several financial entities have identified Smartstream as one of their critical ICT providers.
Smartstream is well-prepared for DORA and is currently conducting an evaluation with its customers to ensure full compliance*. This ensures that both our organisation and our customers are fully aligned with DORA’s standards. In addition, certain Smartstream team members are certified as Digital Operational Act Trained Professionals (certified by Cyber Risk), serving as Subject Matter Experts and providing training.
Smartstream holds industry attestations including: ISO 27001:2022, PCI-DSS, and SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, which, like DORA, cover risk and incident management as well as testing.
